Who are Your Services Designed for?
We partner with anyone wishing to have quality images of any property including real estate agents, private sellers, interior decorators, lodging operators (hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts) as well as clients who require photos of commercial properties.
I can take pictures with my cell phone or point and shoot camera, why should I hire a professional photographer?
One study from REDFIN found that professional real estate photos attracted over 60% more views of listed properties. Cell phones, point and shoot, or even hobbyist cameras cannot provide the same quality photos as a full-frame professional grade camera body equipped with a wide angle lens on a tripod.
How do I schedule a shoot with Gray Oak?
Call or text to 352-566-1824, or email@example.com. We will promptly call back and schedule a photo shoot. Typically a 24-48 hours advance notice is required. However, if we are available we will accept same day appointments.
How long does a shoot usually take?
We can shoot most homes under 3,000 SF in less than one and a half hours including the aerial photography.
Will the photos be edited?
We strive to take the best images possible while on site, but, yes, we re-touch all photos in either Lightroom and/or Photoshop to enhance the best of each home we shoot. We also can make skies bright and cheery, add flames to a fire place, or turn brown winter grass into summer green.
When will I get my photos?
Photos sized and ready for MLS posting are returned within 48 hours but typically much sooner. You will be e-mailed a Dropbox Invite to view your photos.
I heard that to fly a drone for money you must be licensed
Yes, that is correct. The FAA now requires that anyone flying a drone for commercial purposes must pass the 14 CFR Part 107 Airman Knowledge Test. Gray Oak passed this test and is now a licensed Small Unmanned Aircraft System operator.
I am a very busy realtor, do I have to be there the whole time you are shooting the house?
No. We are often given lockbox codes and are trustworthy to remain alone or with the homeowners on site.
What Happens if it rains?
Together we will coordinate a new date and time that is convenient for both parties.
What can I do to prepare a home for a shoot?
A home should have a warm and inviting appearance yet be generic enough to allow a prospective buyer to see themselves living in that space. A home should be clean and the yard freshly mowed. Cars should be removed from the driveway. All lights should be turned on. All fans should be turned off. Beds should be made. Hide all bathroom toiletries. Remove any clutter from all rooms. Close toilet seat lids. Waste bins and pet dishes should be hidden. These are just a few suggestions, for a more complete list, click this link for a more extensive list.
